Bishop David Alan Brock
Bishop Brock is the Senior Pastor and Establishmentarian of Love Fellowship Church of Pittsburgh. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he is the eighth of ten siblings. He began his education in the Pittsburgh School System, later moving to the Penn Hills School District. Upon graduation he attended California University of Pennsylvania. Wanting to be effective in executing the call on his life; he attended a Christian Bible School and Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh. Presently Bishop Brock holds a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies, a Master of Divinity and Doctorate in Ministry.
At an early age, he came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and according to Acts 2:4, he was baptized with the Holy Spirit. He began preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of 14 while still in high school. Bishop Brock has been in the ministry for over 42 years, pastoring for 28 of them.
Bishop Brock acknowledges his purpose is to teach people how to live a life of faith. He not only believes, but he also knows that the keys to a successful ministry are the combination of loving God wholeheartedly; loving people fervently.
In addition to serving as founder of Lifeline Community Outreach, Bishop Brock serves as President of the Pittsburgh Clergy Coalition (PCC). PCC is a group of pastors from both denominational and non-denominational ministries across the City. This group meets regularly with elected local, state and congressional leaders on an on-going basis with a goal of working together to address many of the social ills facing our communities. Additionally, Bishop Brock functions as Spiritual Advisor and a member of the Executive Board of Directors for Imani Christian Academy, an inner city Christian School in the City of Pittsburgh. More recently Bishop Brock was elected as the Chairman of the Board for My Brother’s Keepers a local Pittsburgh organization of men working to reduce many of the social ills facing our young African American men and boys.
On the personal side Bishop David Alan Brock is a loving husband of almost twenty-eight years to his rib, Lisa. He is an active father of five children and grandparent of eleven.
