Bishop David Alan Brock planted his former church into a lager ministry in obedience to a “word” from God. After almost five and a half years of serving as an Elder in that ministry, God caused the “seed church” to grow. Five is God’s number for “grace.” And truly His “grace was sufficient” as he promised in II Corinthians 12:9. As Bishop Brock served the vision of another, his God-given vision was taking shape in the womb of God.

Under the unction of the Holy spirit, Bishop Brock stepped out on faith. With just three partners, God birthed Love Fellowship Church of Pittsburgh (LFC) in the Penn Hills Area of the City of Pittsburgh. The Lord spoke that this new nondenominational church would have a mission to teach men and women to “love God wholeheartedly and love people fervently”. This mission comes from Jesus’ answer to the religious rulers of his time who asked in Matthew 22:37, “What is the great commandment in the law?” He answered, “You should love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind.” He added, “The second is like it. You should love your neighbor as yourself.”
